Meet The Founder
Fidel Ouma is a software engineer and entrepreneur who started Serina Systems with one clear goal: to make world-class digital solutions accessible to businesses across Kenya, Africa and beyond. Growing up, he saw how wide the gap was between innovation and opportunity on the continent, and he set out to help close it.
As a full-stack software engineer, Fidel leads the engineering at Serina Systems. He works across the whole product, from clean, responsive front ends to the servers, databases and payment systems behind them, using tools like Node.js, Express, React and PostgreSQL.
Serina Systems began in Nakuru as a small team with a big belief: that African ingenuity can compete on the global stage. Today the team builds websites, apps and custom systems for clients across Nakuru, Laikipia and Nairobi, and every project is held to the same standard of excellence, empathy and care.
